Kenny Dalglish wary of crisis-hit Arsenal ahead of Liverpool FC visit

Kenny Dalglish is refusing to believe that the crisis currently engulfing Arsenal will give his Liverpool side any advantage when the sides face each other this weekend.

The Reds take on the Gunners for Saturday's lunchtime kick off against a backdrop of conflict, with Samir Nasri expected to follow Cesc Fabregas out the exit door at the Emirates Stadium.

Fabregas secured a return to Barcelona on Monday following years of wrangling between the European champions and the Arsenal hierarchy, who were reluctant to let their captain leave.

Nasri's proposed move to Manchester City appears a mere formality while Arsene Wenger's side has also been decimated by injuries and suspension following last weekend's draw at Newcastle.

Liverpool have yet to win at the Emirates since Arsenal moved there in 2005 and are tipped to break this mini hoodoo on account of the hosts' well-documented on field problems.

But Dalglish remains cautious of the North Londoners ahead of the game and admits he still has great respect for the club that beat his side to the league championship at Anfield in 1989.

"Maybe we're due for a win there, but Arsenal have been I think most football fans' second team. They play great football.and have been very entertaining to watch," he said.

"Unfortunately for Arsenal, they've not won anything for six years; which is the monkey they'd love to get off their back.
